EASE Secure PPK Firefly Distribution Contract

Since 2001 Emerald Air Starters & Equipment have been Queensland's sole authorised sales and servicing agent for RAMBOR Mining Equipment. RAMBOR Pty Ltd (incorporating King Cobra Mining Equipment) is an Australian manufacturer of specialised mining equipment who is globally recognised as an industry leader in the coal mining sector. RAMBOR manufacturers quality products in Australia that are perfectly suited to Australia's harsh mining conditions and have maintained certification to ISO9001 since 1992.

In December 2014 PPK Group Limited acquired Firefly International, a local Australian manufacturer of underground mining products. With RAMBOR Pty Ltd already a part of the PPK Group, EASE successfully negotiated the extension of their existing RAMBOR sales/servicing agreement to now include all PPK Firefly Mining Equipment. This expansion of the EASE/PPK distribution agreement has led to a number of direct benefits for the Queensland coal mining industry.

EASE customers now benefit from fast-turnaround servicing on a much wider range of mining equipment, with all servicing undertaken by EASE's OEM approved repair technicians. Stable and competitive pricing by means of EASE having access to PPK's list prices. Mining businesses knowing they are only purchasing guaranteed, high-quality Australian made products/spare parts, and most importantly EASE customers being able to utilise the direct line of communication from 'end user to manufacturer'.

This has led to EASE being instrumental in facilitating ongoing changes/improvements to PPK Firefly's new & existing product range via the provision of mine site operators forthright feedback on specific product operation & suitability.
